Down on the Farm

Yesterday evening, my aunt and uncle invited us to their farm for a picnic. Mom, Dad, Steph, Kyle and their family also joined us. They live near the small town of Lehigh. It was so quiet and peaceful out in the country. The food was great as well as the company!
The kids espcially loved the rides on Uncle Gary's toy! I think they bothered him the whole night about when and where the next ride was going to be. He also quickly became the expert at just about everything - many times I heard the kids say "I think Uncle Gary knows . . . " The kids were excited they could pick their own corn!
Of course, Matigan loved the kittens - which surprised me since we have 3 at home!

The kids also had a scavenger hunt which Aunt Janet had made up. While some tired early (the girls who were more interested in finding the kittens), the rest of us had a great time! Thanks Janet - lots to discover on your farm!
Thank you Uncle Gary and Aunt Janet for a great evening. Hope to see you all again soon!

Our last (very quick) stop was at my cousin's house to visit him and his wife. We haven't seen them for a long time, so it was nice to see their place and finally Matigan found a farm with horses! She has really been horse crazy lately - can't understand why we can't just keep one in the backyard!

What a special and fun time with family. And Matigan was able to see some horses...are you sure one won't fit in the backyard?
